Liberty Wrestling Has Started and the team is off to a Great start.
This past weekend they won the Penn Manor tournament with
KJ Fenstermacher, John Ritter and Andrew Gunning taking firsts.
The team will be back in action on Wednesday, Dec.17 wrestling
Pocono Mt. East High School at Memorial gym. Varsity starts at
On Saturday Dec. 20 they will be hosting Parkland at Memorial gym. 7:00 PM
The Bethlehem Holiday Wrestling Classic Starts Sunday Dec. 28,
and concludes on Monday Dec.29. Come see the Boys in action as they take on some of the top wrestlers in the area and the United States with Wyoming Seminary (Nationally Ranked) compete
Anyone knowing any wrestlers from the past who may be forgotten, contact me. We are trying to update the History of Liberty Wrestling and everyone is important. We don't want to miss anyone.
On December 18th, during the Allen High School match we will be honoring all former Liberty wrestlers. A "Night Of Legends". Should be a great time to celebrate our proud "Tradition" as one
of the oldest and successful wrestling program.

Our First State Champions and runner-up are pictured above. Can you pick them out.
1947 Our First Year of Official District XI Wrestling Championships. As usual we placed
many Champions. 6 to be exact. Vince Garcia is still a local Bethlehem resident. Can
you name the State Champ in this picture. Who had the fastest pin in District History.
Actually there are more than one, but not all from Bethlehem.

Cecchine and Unangst won State Titles. The first for Liberty. Coach Stark was a Wrestling
Champion in Scotland as well as a Champion Boxer before coming to Liberty.
Reporter Brad Wilson of the Express Times commented in the Newspaper that our program is the Best in the area and rivals any college program. He says its a must Buy.
